COLD WEATHER CONCRETE CONCERNS
•  Allowing concrete to freeze before sufficient strength gain,(below 500 psi), breaks up the concrete matrix.

•  Strength gain slows in colder weather making monitoring even more critical for safety and for staying on schedule.
•  Concrete must be monitored during cold weather to ensure that measures taken to protect the concrete are working.
•  The effects of frozen ground should be considered when placing concrete in cold weather.
•  Work with your ready-mix supplier to make cold weather adjustments to your mix designs.

​InSite Wireless Remotes use LoRa radios that extend ranges and use less power expanding your ability to send data and letting you worry less about keeping them going.  Remotes can be set to send data at different intervals so that you can gather critical data more often, or monitor less critical locations less frequently.  All Remotes are powered by low-cost, easy to find AA batteries making them powerful and convenient!

​Rugged InSite loggers gather the data you need to get the job done right and on-time.  These self-starting sensors detect fresh concrete and begin logging critical data at exactly the right moment.  Triple-redundant thermistors ensure the most precise temperature accuracy and provide peace of mind against data loss.  Its high-temperature battery means InSite loggers survive in the hottest concrete and can be used on any mix design.  Temperature measurements are stored every 60 seconds for 180 days and concrete maturity is calculated using 1-minute temperature readings.

SELF-STARTING CAPABILITY
Since they detect when they are touched by concrete, InSite loggers begin recording data at exactly the right time.  This self-starting feature increases ease of use and makes sure critical start times aren't missed.
DURABLE POTTING MATERIAL
InSite components are encased in a custom material designed to protect your critical data from the extreme pressures, moisture, chemical reactions and temperatures produced by curing concrete.
REDUNDANT TEMPERATURE SENSORS
InSite thermistors read concrete temperature every 60 seconds and deliver accuracy to within 1°C.  These three on-board sensors provide redundant readings improving reliability.
HIGH-TEMPERATURE BATTERY
The InSite battery is designed to withstand very high temperatures, up to 110°C, ensuring it survives in the hottest of concrete cores and delivers the critical data you need. 
REBAR GROOVE
A specially designed groove allows zip-ties or rebar wire to hold InSite loggers in precisely the location you choose.  You can trust that InSite readings represent the location you intended to monitor.
TOUGH 16-GAUGE WIRE
A variety of cable lengths in 16-gauge wire means InSite can monitor at any depth.  Wired loggers combined with affordable wireless components ensure a solid, reliable connection to your data.    ​
